EasyDrugs Inc. ("EasyDrugs", "us", "our", or "we") values your privacy. We have prepared this privacy policy to explain the manner in which we collect, use and disclose personal information through our website located at [www.easydrugs.com] (the "Website"), through our mobile application [EasyDrugs] (the "App"), our online pharmacy platform, and otherwise interact with you (collectively, the "Platform"). In this Privacy Policy, "you" refers to any individual who subscribes to or uses the Platform.


We may collect personal information when you:

  1. Create an account to sign up for the Platform
  2. Use our Platform, on behalf of our partner pharmacies  
  3. Refer others or connect a caregiver.
  4. Use the Platform.  
  5. Sign-up to receive marketing emails such as newsletters and blog posts.
  6. Provide location information.
  7. Participate in our surveys or research projects.
  8. Make purchases or returns.
  9. Enter a contest or participate in a promotion.
  10. Apply for a job.
  11. Contact us with a comment, question or complaint.
  12. Visit the Website.

1. Create an Account

You do not have to register to visit or use our Website. However, if you choose to create an account in order to access our Platform and connect with our partner pharmacies, we require certain information. The information we collect includes your first and last name, phone number, email, address, a password that you create, and a copy of your government-issued identification. We use this information to validate your identity, and to create and administer your account. We strongly recommend that you do not disclose your password to anyone. We will never ask you for your password in any unsolicited communication (such as letters, phone calls or email messages). If you become aware of any unauthorized access to or use of your account, you are required to notify us immediately.

2. On behalf of our partner pharmacies

If you choose to use the Platform in order to connect with a partner pharmacy, we will collect: your prescription information, details about your prescription (e.g. side effects, efficacity, and feedback),  your date of birth,  your home address,  your mailing address, your health care number, your health insurance information, the name of your healthcare provider, and any other information you may provide to us (such as your medication history, current medication, and allergies) on behalf of our partner pharmacy. This information will be maintained on file for as long as you subscribe to the Platform unless you choose to remove it from your profile.  

3. Referrals and Caregivers

Our Platform may permit you to tell others about EasyDrugs or to give access to your account to a caregiver. This feature requires you to submit your name and email address, as well as the name and email address of the recipient. We do not use the names or email addresses submitted in these circumstances for any other purpose without the consent of you or the email recipient to do so. Please ensure that you only submit email addresses of individuals with whom you have a personal or family relationship. Remember that any caregiver will also have to agree to our Terms of Service and will have access to all the personal information in your account.  

4. Using our Platform  

With your consent, we may collect non-personally identifiable information about you and your use of the Platform in an aggregated manner in order to help us: (i) understand our customers, (ii)  enhance our product and service offerings, (iii) participate in research projects with other entities, (iv) conduct research on medication usage, and (v) to improve health outcomes for others.  

5. Marketing Communications  

If you sign-up to receive electronic marketing communications such as text message updates or emails, we collect your cell phone number and email address. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link included at the bottom of each email or text message. Alternatively, you can opt-out of receiving electronic marketing communications by contacting us at the contact information provided in the "Contact Us" section below. Please note that you may continue to receive transactional or account-related communications from us.

6. Social Media

If you engage with our marketing campaigns on social media websites such as engaging with an influencer's post, we may collect information (e.g. likes, shares, and comments) for the purposes of evaluating the effectiveness of our marketing campaign.  

We may also use Platform provided by third-party platforms (such as social media and other websites) to serve targeted advertisements on such platforms to you or others, and we may provide a hashed version of your email address or other information to the platform provider for such purposes. To opt-out of the use of your information for such purposes, please send a request using any of the methods set forth in the Contact Us section below.

7. Location Information  

We may have access to certain information about your location, such as your country or address, when you provide it or via device information (such as an IP address or through your mobile device). If you access the Platform on your mobile device we may collect information about your device's precise location. You can opt-out of location tracking through the App at any time by turning off your location Platform for the App in the settings of your mobile device.  

8. Purchase Products

We may offer the option to purchase non-prescription goods directly through the Platform. If you choose to do so, we (or our authorized third-party payment processor) may collect payment information (including billing address, credit card number, expiry data and CVV code) in order to process the transaction. In such event, it is our policy to redirect you to a payment processing portal hosted by a third-party payment processor.   Please read the privacy policy on our payment processor's website regarding the use, storage and protection of your credit card information before submitting any payment information.

9. Contests and Promotions.  

When you enter a contest or participate in a promotion, we may collect your name, address, phone number, email address, and other information you provide. We use this information to administer your participation in the contest or promotion.

10. Careers

If you apply for a job with us, you may provide us with certain personal information about yourself, such as information contained in a resume, cover letter, or similar employment-related materials.  We use this information for the purpose of processing and responding to your application for current and future career opportunities.

11. Contact Us

When you contact us with a comment, question or complaint through email, telephone, or our online messaging service, you may be asked for information that identifies you, such as your name, address and a telephone number, along with additional information we need to help us promptly answer your question or respond to your comment.  We may retain this information to assist you in the future and to improve our customer service and service offerings.

12. Technical and usage information.  

We also collect certain technical and usage information when you use the Platform, such as the type of device, browser, and operating system you are using, your Internet service provider or mobile carrier, unique device identifier, IDFA or IDFV, MAC address, IP address, device and browser settings, the webpages and mobile apps you use, advertisements you see and interact with, and certain Website usage information. See our Cookies and Other Technical Information section for more information on how we may use these technologies to collect this Information.


We do not sell, rent or disclose your personal information to third parties without your consent, except as described below or as required or permitted by applicable law.

1. Partner Pharmacies

The personal information that we collect on behalf of our pharmacy partners will be transferred and otherwise made available to these pharmacy partners upon your request. Please note, you will need to enter into a separate agreement with your chosen pharmacy partner, and we are not responsible for the actions of our pharmacy partners.  You should always read and understand the policies of the pharmacy partner before providing any personal information or instructing us to do so.  

2. Service Providers

Your personal information may be transferred (or otherwise made available) to third parties that provide Platform on our behalf. We use service providers to provide Platform such as hosting the Website, maintaining and improving our Platform, and providing advertising and marketing Platform. Our service providers are only provided with the information they need to perform their designated functions and are not authorized to use or disclose personal information for their own marketing or other purposes.  Our service providers are given the information they need to perform their designated functions, and are not authorized to use or disclose personal information for their own marketing or other purposes.

3. Legal and Compliance

We and our service providers may disclose your personal information in response to a search warrant or other legally valid inquiry or order, or to another organization for the purposes of investigating a breach of an agreement or contravention of law or detecting, suppressing or preventing fraud, or as otherwise may be required or permitted by applicable  law. Your personal information may also be disclosed where necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims and to investigate or prevent actual or suspected loss or harm to persons or property.

4. Sale of Business

We may transfer any information we have about you as an asset in connection with a proposed or completed merger, acquisition or sale (including transfers made as part of insolvency or bankruptcy proceedings) involving all or part of EasyDrugs or as part of a corporate reorganization or other change in corporate control.

5. Business Partners

With your consent, we may provide your personal information to our affiliated companies, co-sponsors or other business partners to use in accordance with their own privacy policies. We may share your personal information so that our business partners, affiliated companies or co-sponsors may provide you with information on the products and Platform they make available to you through our Platform or that may be of interest to you.

1. Visiting our Website

In general, you can visit our Website without telling us who you are or submitting any personal information. However, we collect the IP (Internet protocol) addresses of all visitors to our Website and other related information such as page requests, browser type, operating system and average time spent on our Website. We use this information to help us understand our Website activity and to monitor and improve our Website.  

2. Cookies, Tracer Tags & Web Beacons  

Our Website uses a technology called "cookies". A cookie is a tiny element of data that our Website sends to a user's browser, which may then be stored on the user's hard drive so that we can recognize the user's computer or device when they return. You may set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie or to not accept certain cookies. However, if you decide not to accept cookies from our Website, you may not be able to take advantage of all of the Website features.  

The Website may also use a technology called "tracer tags" or "Web Beacons". This technology allows us to understand which pages you visit on the Website. These tracer tags are used to help us optimize and tailor the Website for you and other future visitors to the Website.

We may use a third party such as Google Analytics to help us gather and analyze information about the areas visited on the Website (such as the pages most read, time spent, search terms and other engagement data) in order to evaluate and improve the user experience and the Website. Our Website and our App may contain links to other websites that EasyDrugs does not own or operate. We provide links to third party websites as a convenience to the user. These links are not intended as an endorsement of or referral to the linked websites. The linked websites have separate and independent privacy policies, notices and terms of use. We do not have any control over such websites, and therefore we have no responsibility or liability for the manner in which the organizations that operate such linked websites may collect, use or disclose, secure and otherwise treat personal information. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of every website you visit.  

5. Interest Based Advertising

We work with third-parties such as ad networks and other advertising companies that use their own tracking technologies (including cookies and pixel tags) on our Website in order to provide you with tailored advertisements across the Internet. These companies may collect information about your activity on our Website and third-party websites (such as web pages you visit and your interaction with our advertising and other communications) and use this information to make predictions about your preferences, develop personalized content and deliver ads that are more relevant to you on third party websites. This information may also be used to evaluate our online advertising campaigns.

6. Mobile Analytics

As with many applications, certain limited data is required for our mobile application to function on your device. We use mobile analytics software to allow us to better understand the functionality of our mobile software on your phone, to monitor and improve our application, and to tailor your in-app experience. This software may record information such as how often you use the application, the events that occur within the application, aggregated usage, performance data, and where the application was downloaded from. We do not link the information we store within the analytics software to any personally identifiable information you submit within the mobile application.


We have implemented reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures in an effort to safeguard the personal information in our custody and control against theft, loss and unauthorized access, use, modification and disclosure. We restrict access to personal information on a need-to-know basis to employees and authorized service providers who require access to fulfil their job requirements.  

We have record retention processes designed to retain personal information for no longer than necessary for the purposes set out herein or as otherwise required to meet legal or business requirements.


1. Subscription

As indicated above, if you have signed-up to receive our email communications, you can unsubscribe any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link included at the bottom of the email. Alternatively, you can opt-out of receiving our marketing communications by contacting us at the contact information under "Contact Us" below.  

2. Push Notifications

If you provide your consent to receive push notifications, we may display push notifications on your mobile device such as welcome messages, product features, reminders, and promotional offers. If you wish to stop receiving push notifications from us, you can turn off push notifications for the App in the settings of your mobile device.

3. Precise location information

To disable the collection of precise location information from your mobile device through our App, you can access your mobile device settings and choose to limit that collection.

4. Opting Out of Interest-Based Advertising

Please note that even if you opt-out of interest-based advertising by a third party, these tracking technologies may still collect data for other purposes including analytics and you will still see ads from us, but the ads will not be targeted based on behavioural information about you and may therefore be less relevant to you and your interests.

To successfully opt out, you must have cookies enabled in your web browser (see your browser’s instructions for information on cookies and how to enable them). Your opt-out only applies to the web browser you use so you must opt-out of each web browser on each computer you use. Once you opt out, if you delete your browser’s saved cookies, you will need to opt-out again.

5. Managing cookies and other technologies.

Cookies can either be persistent (i.e., they remain on your computer until you delete them) or temporary (i.e., they last only until you close your browser). Check your browser settings to learn how to delete cookies.

You may request access, updating and corrections of inaccuracies in your personal information in our custody or control by emailing or writing to us at the contact information set out below. We may request certain personal information for the purpose of verifying the identity of the individual seeking access to his or her personal information records.


We may update this privacy policy periodically to reflect changes to our privacy practices. We encourage you to periodically review this page to ensure you are familiar with those changes. We will indicate at the top of this privacy policy when it was most recently updated.


We may offer the App for download.  We will use commercially reasonable efforts, given the limitations imposed upon us by third party providers such as Apple Inc. and Google Inc., to clearly disclose what, if any information is collected by the App, how it is used, and with whom it is shared.  Please note, certain practices are outside of our control, for example, tracking by Google, Inc., Apple, Inc., or your third party telecommunications carrier.  We are not responsible for the actions of such third parties.  You should always read and understand the policies of any third party provider, such as Google with respect to Android apps and Apple with respect to IOS apps, and your wireless carrier, before making any purchase or downloading any app.
